As I’m sure you’ve heard, the DC Young Republicans are helping take back America this fall, one state at a time. Next stop: North Carolina! Volunteering your time in the Tar Heel State will ensure the Democratic candidates DON’T STAND A CHANCE — so we can’t thank you enough. We’ll be going door-to-door and making calls to reach out to voters in Raleigh this weekend, October 15-17.

Schedule for North Carolina Deployment October 15-17 2010

All transportation, lodging, and food costs are FREE to volunteers!

Friday:
7:45 pm – Arrive and check-in with Brittny McKinney or Janelle Hervig (will have clipboards) for trip in front of the Capitol Hill Club/RNC (Capitol South metro orange/blue lines)
8:00 pm – Bus departs for North Carolina
*Plan to eat dinner before getting on the bus or bring something with you. It is a 6 hour drive so we will be arriving at the hotel early Saturday morning. Wear comfortable clothes/shoes!

Saturday: Weather report is sunny, high 74 and low 49
8:30 am – Meet in hotel lobby to head to the GOP HQ
9:00 am – Meet at GOP HQ for breakfast and split into groups for going door-to-door and making calls
9:30 am -1:30 pm – Door to door & phone banking
1:30 – 2:00 pm – Lunch will be provided
2:00 – 8:00 pm – Door to door & phone banking
6:00/6:30 pm – Dinner will be provided
*Saturday evening – Social activity at a bar in Raleigh. TBD!

Sunday: Weather report is sunny, high of 75 and low of 50
10:00 am – Meet in lobby packed and ready to load the bus
10:30 – Breakfast at GOP HQ
11:00 am – 2:00 pm – door to door & phone banking
2:00 pm – Lunch at HQ
3:00 pm – Bus departs for DC

We’re heading to PA for another weekend of helping our great GOP candidates and doing our part to win back the majority this fall! We’ll be going door to door to talk with Pennsylvania voters, making calls, getting to know our fellow Conservatives, and having a blast while contributing to the future of our Party and our country!

10:00AM to 6:00PM – phone banking at Luzerne GOP headquarters (lunch will be provided)

6:00PM to 8:00PM – dinner provided at Luzerne GOP headquarters

8:30PM – return to Genetti’s Best Western hotel

9:00AM to 10:00AM – check out of Best Western hotel, breakfast provided at hotel

10:30AM to 11:00AM – meet at Luzerne GOP headquarters to receive deployment packets (maps, literature, street sheets, and additional materials)

10:00AM to 3:30PM – door knocking in Luzerne county (brown bag lunch will be provided)
