Also, we are having a raffle for a 50 gift card to a dining establishment of their choice or a free paintball ticket. Each night you are at the phone bank you may enter!

DCYRs on Tour 2010

Deployed 406 volunteers to 16 cities in 9 states.
Over 7,500 volunteer hours.
Coordinated GOTV efforts in Connecticut, DC, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Weekly phone bank at the RNC Headquarters.
Member-composed Resume Bank made accessible to DCYR supported Congressional candidates.

The DC Young Republican Deployment Program, termed “DCYRs on Tour” because of the rockstar-like energy and excitement the trips are known for, serve as a key element of our organization’s political activism. Although the DCYRs have long been a reliable source for Republican candidates looking to energize their campaigns with volunteer support, the number of volunteers participating in deployments has seen a significant increase. Weekend trips to states such as New Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania have given us a chance to show just how effective young republicans can be at stirring up support for a candidate and invigorating a campaign.
